Any Phase

1. Ransom payment (10.82).

Money in a player's Faction Treasury is safe from loss due to a Senator's death.

Personal Treasury

3. Contributions to the State Treasury (6.22).
4. Open Bodyguard Intrigue card payment.

Forum Phase

1. Persuasion Attempt (7.512).

3. Attract a Knight: +1 drm per 1 talent (7.6).
4. Sponsor Games (7.4).

A Senator not in Rome can only use his Personal Treasury during the Forum Phase to Sponsor Games.

How do I get money?

Revenue Phase

1. Senatorial Personal Income
2. Concessions
3. Provincial Personal Income
4. Knights
5. Pontifex Maximus
6. From other players as gifts or in trade.

All new and existing funds can be redistributed amongst all Loyal (as opposed to Rebel) Senators and Faction Treasuries during the Revenue Phase.

Forum Phase

1. Successfully Persuade a Senator with money.
2. Successfully defend against a Persuasion Attempt in which money was used.
3. Pressure Knights (7.61)

A Senator not in Rome may Pressure Knights.

SenatePhase

1. Collect income from Armaments and Ship Building Concessions.

Combat Phase

1. Cleopatra VII Intrigue card.
2. Proscription Intrigue card.

Revolution Phase

1. Keep a Bequest, but the Senator must Rebel.
